Katie Glenwright Fornof
Licensed in Marriage and Family Therapy & Clinical Social Work
In Katie’s therapy room, you have permission to take up space. Katie has proudly partnered with people of many different identities, statuses and groups, and derives great pleasure from working with people who are both alike and different from herself.
Katie utilizes a systemic approach to therapy (called Bowen Family Systems), and understands the importance of a person's unique relationship with themselves and others. She invites you to partner with her to explore your ‘self’ in relation to ‘other’ by increasing awareness, understanding, and self compassion and in turn create possibilities for more meaningful connections and strengthened overall health and happiness. Guiding and witnessing people on the path of connecting/reconnecting with themselves, and connecting/reconnecting in their relationships is often a focus of sessions in Katie’s therapy room.
Katie earned her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy and M.A. in Social Work from Syracuse University and holds a license in both professions.
